Ontario Public Service Executive Transformation Fellow
Kyle MacIntyre joins the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto as the Ontario Public Service (OPS) Executive Transformation Fellow. His fellowship mission is to develop OPS system capacity to support transformation initiatives. The research will focus on developing an action plan that can lead to implementable system-wide changes that will help to increase OPS capacity in leading and implementing major change management projects.
For the last three years, Kyle has been the chief advisor to two Deputy Ministers and Secretaries of Treasury Board/Management Board of Cabinet as the Director, Operations in the Deputy Minister’s Office in the Treasury Board Secretariat. In 2017, he also concurrently held the position of Director of the Treasury Board Secretariat’s Transformation Office. Kyle has over 13 years of experience working in the OPS and has held management positions in a variety of policy, strategic planning and operations roles.
He has a Master’s of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University, a Master’s of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor’s of Arts in International Development from the University of Guelph.
