Michael Stein is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at McMaster University and the University of Toronto. Professor Stein is also an IPSA Research Committee Liaison Representative, an elective position that involves the oversight of approximately 50 Research Committees of IPSA. He has recently, with John Trent at the University of Ottawa, co-edited a book series coordinated by RC 33 on “The World of Political Science: Development of the Discipline”. Professor Stein received his B.A. from McGill University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Princeton University.
