New Macleans op-ed features Michael Donnelly’s research showing Canadian views on immigration are not necessarily distinguishable from a European country.

A 2017 study by University of Toronto political scientist Michael Donnelly found that seven in ten Canadians would only accept ‘a few’ or ‘some’ poor immigrants, a view most similar to public opinion in France.”
